Next to using a soft tipped stylus you can now also select a drink with your smart phone. Simply scan the QR-code of your favorite, personalize it to your liking and order from your mobile device. All you have to do is place your own cup or mug. The machine then starts preparing your drink and shows the progress on the coffee machine’s screen.

You only need a GPRS connection with the modem of the machine or a local network or WIFI connection to get this touchless control working on the machine. A software update will enable ConnectMe users to offer this feature free of charge to all their consumers. For machines that aren’t online yet we have an offer that includes not only the necessary hardware but also the data costs for the next 20 month. The web-based approach will allow us to make updates quickly and avoid long approval processes from app-stores.
